    Advanced Torque Model Calibration
    Going a few steps further into the torque model, we look at advanced methods for calibrating the "Virtual Torque" tables in HPTuners software in order to generate new coefficients that will significantly improve throttle control on these torque-based drive by wire systems.  Boosted engines in particular need some critical updates and we walk you through the adjustments necessary to get the torque model right.  Following these steps will improve throttle control, transmission shifting, and safety.

    GenV Idle Control The new torque based control system takes a different approach to idle control than the older GM engines, even with drive by wire. Learn how the ECU calculates a torque reserve so you can get the right spark and airflow necessary to control the idle on modified engines.
